Job Description
- Data Pipeline Development:o Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform,and load data into Big Query
- o Implement workflows for batch and real-time data processing
Database Management:o Develop, manage, and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction,transformation, and reporting - o Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
Data Architecture:o Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements andtranslate them into scalable data models - o Build and maintain optimized and highly available data architecture withinBig Quer
Data Analysis Reporting Support:o Support data analysts and business intelligence teams by creating datasets, views, and reports in BigQuery - o Provide recommendations for data-driven decision-makin
Collaboration:o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers,analysts, and software engineers - o Document data engineering processes, workflows, and best practices
- Required Skills and QualificationsTechnical Skills:o Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex and optimized queries
- o Hands-on experience with Google Big Query, including data ingestion,transformation, and querying
- o Experience with ETL/ELT tools and processes
- o Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is aplus
- Experience:o 3-4 years of relevant experience in data engineering, data analysis, or asimilar role
- o Demonstrated experience in handling large datasets and data pipelines
- Soft Skills:o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- o Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- o Attention to detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting andoptimization
- Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Google CloudCompose
