Job Overview:Skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Automation with expertise infile system protocols such as SMB, along with exposure to NFS, S3, and Active Directory (AD) integration.
The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills inPython, experience with the pytest framework, and a solid understanding ofnetworking concepts.
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the reliability and performance of storage and file system solutions.
Must-Have Skills: Experience in SDET, Test Automation, or Software Development.
Strong expertise in file system protocols: SMB (mandatory), with good exposure toNFS and S3.
Hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD) authentication and access control in file systems.
Proficiency in Python for automation development.
Experience with PyTest for writing and executing test cases.
Solid understanding of Linux, Windows, and networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and security protocols.
Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CI/CD, or GitHub.
Experience with Linux/Unix environments and Shell scripting.
Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with other storage protocols (NFS, iSCSI, etc.) Familiarity with Cloud Storage (AWS S3, MinIO, etc.) Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
