Senior Storage Engineer

1. Management, maintenance and support of data storage solutions, Netapp and Pure storage arrays.
2. Plan, collaborate and drive upgrades of Pure and Netapp components as needed for software, hardware and microcode upgrades. Effective vendor management as needed in this process.
3. Effectively engage and contribute to technical discussions with Business and Stakeholders for Storage related topics/requirements.
4. Responsible for storage provisioning tasks beginning with end user requests, through the creation of volumes, mapping and ensuring storage availability at the operating system.
5. Maintaining the health of deployed storage systems in both on-premises and cloud environments through NetApp's monitoring tools like OCUM, Pure Monitoring tool like PureOne.
6. Implementing various ONTAP technologies like SVM DR and snapvault to meet backup requirements effectively.

1. Design and implement storage Disaster Recovery to meet application RPO and RTO. Automating various Storage related tasks and day-to-day operations for NetApp storage products.
2. Maintaining and enhancing monitoring and observability for Storage Infra.
3. Drive Infrastructure automation initiatives across the board to solve operational challenges.
4. Driving projects to improve processes, procedures and efficiencies, also to remediate technical debts.
5. Standardizing and maintaining documentation for Storage related processes, SOPs, MOPs, Runbooks etc.
6. Effective incident management/response and resolution for storage-related issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring a resilient storage environment.
7. Employing effective change management for planning and implementing Storage infra related changes and contribute to overall Infra changes from Storage perspective.
8. Efficient ticket management to quicker TAT and enhanced end user experience.

1. Thorough understanding of the following protocols, applications, and platforms: NFS, CIFS, SAN, iSCSI, TCP/IP, RAID, NetApp Storage System operating systems like DataOntap, Purity.
2. Good knowledge of DNS, LDAP and AD.
3. Good hands-on experience on Netapp Cdot products and Metrocluster Solutions.
4. Good hands-on experience on Astra Trident for provisioning dynamic Storage for Kubernetes Clusters.
5. Good hands-on experience on software like snapmirror, flexclones, pure snapshots, etc.
6. Proficiency in Cisco MDS, Brocade fabric management and related technologies like zoning, masking, etc.
7. Good understanding and proficiency in ITIL, Project management and agile methodologies.
8. Familiarity with usage and protocols of enterprise tools like Service Now.
9. Proficiency and experience in management processes like Change management, incident management, etc.
10. Proficient in written and verbal communications.
11. Strong professional and industry experience in storage technologies for reputed and global organizations.
12. Team player and leadership qualities.
13. Motivated and self-driven.
