Job Description

1. Conducting Literature Review

2. Designing field-based studies, preparing, tools for data collection, specifically

interview schedule, interview guide and FGD questions and data-based case studies

3. Using computer-based tools to analyse and prepare both quantitative and qualitative

data for report preparation,

4. Training and overseeing the field enumerators in the process of field data collection

(visits to the field sites is a required activity).

5. Preparing the data for analysis, interpretation, and report writing.

6. Maintaining the project-related documents. Meeting the government and civil society

representatives and fixing meetings with them in connection with the project work.

Coordinating with all the project team members.

7. Helping in finalising the project report.

8. Any other task delegated by the principal investigator.

Conducting a review of the literature and generating a report

Working with the project team in designing the survey instruments, collecting data,

Implementing the field investigation-related activities in Belagavi and any other

field sites, as identified by the Project Director.

Field visits and interaction with various stakeholders using surveys and FDGs.

Supervision of the field investigation.

Preparation of reports for the funding agency

Any other task delegated by the principal investigator.

Working with the project team in the identification of the study participants in the

chosen gram panchayats in the Belagavi District.

Collection and compilation of field data using the interview schedules, survey, and

the supervision of the Research officer and Principal and Co-Principal Investigators

and in collaboration with the Research Assistant.
