Role & responsibilities

- Ensure effective implementation of Safety Systems and Procedures

- Collate data on accidents, near-miss, environmental spills, property damage and report to the

Plant Management / Corporate Safety and upload the same in EHS Portal

- Play key role in Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment, Aspect & Impact Analysis

- Carry out Safety Induction Training

- Conduct machine safety inspections and audits

- Carry out inspections to identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions

- Prepare Safety Training Materials for in-house trainings

- Coordinate Safety Committee Meeting and prepare Minutes of Meeting

- Organize Safety Review Meetings

- Organize campaigns like National Safety Day, World Environment Day and Fire Services Day

- Create safety awareness among workmen

- Be part of the incident investigation team. Monitor implementation of corrective actions.

- Prepare Safety Alerts for horizontal deployment. Share the learnings with Corporate.

- Coordinate during ISO 14001 and 45001 external Audit.

- Be part of the Internal audit Team (Safety & Environment).
