UX designer

Job Role/ JD :

• Seeking a UI/ UX designer with an ability to solve complex design problems.
• This role requires you to both create new and enhance existing design flows and experiences.
• You would be required to conceptualize, design and prototype new features for our core products in partnership with the product team.
• A critical aspect of the role is to collaborate with both product and engineering team to understand requirements and develop creative solutions.
• At Tenneo, the customer is at the center of every product development thus you would be conducting frequent iterative usability tests in parallel with development to enhance the UI and UX.

Responsibilities

• Design clean, fresh and current user interfaces regardless of device (mobile/desktop/tablet/etc.).
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
• Assist in building and launching of landing pages
• Assist with user research and data collection as needed (site maps, site metrics via Omniture, surveys, etc.)
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Skills

• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio of diverse shipped software products
• Deep knowledge of modern iOS, Android, Web and OS X interface conventions
• Experience working on transactional websites or software applications is preferred
• Experience in designing responsive web layouts / mobile apps
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma and other visual design and wire-framing tools

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a design related field

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience (agency background would be a plus)
