Job Summary:

The Sr. Treasury Analyst is responsible for the analysis and review of corporate and servicing advances to the management team. This includes monitoring risk, updating borrowing base reports, and analyzing positions related to advances financed. Assists other analysts in researching advance related problems or issues impacting financing and maintains advanced Excel and SQL databases where the advance data is contained.

Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will utilize advanced Excel and SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze financial data. Prepare comprehensive reports to support treasury functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and mathematical skills.
• Ability to work well with others and be a team player.
• Analyze and interpret financial information to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to mortgage operations and financial services. Provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
• Ability to read and comprehend legal documents related to mortgage transactions, financial agreements, and other pertinent financial contracts.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance treasury operations and streamline processes. Implement best practices and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A quantitative finance degree is highly preferred.
• Proven experience within the mortgage industry and experience as an analyst.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL is essential.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
• Knowledge of financial risk management and compliance standards.
