THE ROLE

As a Community Manager you will help build, grow, and nurture our online communities and social media platforms. This role focuses on driving engagement, fostering meaningful interactions, and amplifying positive sentiment. By curating compelling content, executing country-focused campaigns, and leveraging community insights, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing brand presence and driving impactful social strategies.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Building, growing, and managing online communities and social media platforms to foster active engagement, meaningful interactions, and positive sentiment. Respond to community comments and inquiries with a consistent and authentic voice across all platforms
  • Strategizing, organizing, and executing country-focused campaigns, digital events, and activities (e.g., webinars, live Q&A sessions, contests) that align with broader social media and marketing goals, ensuring an integrated approach across channels
  • Curating and creating engaging content for social media and community platforms, while supporting the development of user-generated content and growth strategies informed by insights from the broader marketing team
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on community sentiment and social media performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to enhance engagement, expand reach, and optimize campaigns

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align social media and community initiatives with overall marketing objectives, leveraging community feedback to shape content strategies and product improvements

THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor s degree in a related field, or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in community management, social media management, content or related roles
  • Marketing experience in international regions outside of India
  • Experience in creating and managing peer-to-peer communities or ambassador programs.
  • Proven experience growing and managing online communities
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and other tools (Salesforce, Sprout Social, Tagger Media etc.).
  • Superior communication, presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences
  • Strong analytical skills and highly comfortable with a tech-enabled environment where the use of tools like Salesforce.com, Tableau, Slack, and Confluence are the norm

A passion for financial inclusion and access to higher education is a must, as well as comfort working with a global team across multiple-time zones and sites!

In addition, you should be comfortable working in a fast growth environment, meaning a small agile team, fast-evolving roles and responsibilities, variable workload and tight deadlines, a high degree of autonomy, and 80-20 everything.
