About the Role:
What You ll Do: - Lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and maintain the microservices that form the backend of WorkInSync SaaS products.
- Ensure that services meet business and non-functional requirements, such as performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from understanding requirements to delivering production-ready solutions.
- Understand the WorkInSync SaaS product and provide technical leadership to ensure the efficient use of the platform.
- Design and implement scalable, low-latency microservices with high availability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet business objectives and deadlines.
- Maintain and enhance existing microservices, ensuring the best performance and reliability.
- Guide and mentor junior developers within the team.
- 1+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices development, and RESTful API implementation.
- Knowledge of SQL databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design applications with low latency.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Prior experience in leading a software engineering team is preferred.
- Experience with AWS services.
- Familiarity with messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, and caching systems like Redis or Memcached.
- Experience with databases like Cassandra/DynamoDB.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
