Job Description
- Performs data entry using various computer programs, word processing, spreadsheet or database commands and formats material as required.
- Review discrepancies in data received requests clarification or advises supervisor of issues related to data, and performs data verification routines in accordance with company procedures.
- May interact with departmental and/or other staff on matters affecting data and makes recommendations for improvement or enhancement to job processes to ensure standards in data entry, collection and retrieval.
- Files, keeps records, and prepares / transmits / sorts / distributes facsimiles, mail, e-mail, and reports as needed.
- Perform quality work within deadlines.
- Interact professionally with other employees.
- Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
- Fluent in English - written and spoken
- Able to type data for long periods of time.
- Detailed and thorough in work habits.
- PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet, e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other software.
- Able to read and understand a terminal screen and printed reports.
- Neat and legible handwriting.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor s Degree in related field.
- 0-4 year s of work experience
