Assistant Teacher

Job Summary:

Require the Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher in the classroom by providing assistance with instruction, managing student behavior, helping to create a positive learning environment and the ability to work collaboratively with students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• To teach and supervise students of Pre-School Level during class activities, recess, and transitions. Monitor student progress, assist with homework, and provide clarification on lessons when needed.
• Support individual and group activities, helping students to understand key concepts and complete assignments. Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students who need additional assistance.
• Assist with managing classroom behaviour, ensuring that students follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Help to maintain a well-organized and positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
• Observe and assess student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher.
• Support and maintain the grading assignments, maintaining student records, and preparing teaching materials.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors Degree
• Communication skills
• Basic knowledge of computer
