Autonomy Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Autonomy Engineering Manager to lead a team of Perception, Localization, Mapping and Navigation Engineers. You will be working on the design, development, and deployment of our cutting-edge autonomous systems. The ideal candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, driving innovation and ensuring the successful delivery of robust and scalable autonomy solutions. This role includes, but not limited to, the following tasks:

1. Serve as the functional leader for Autonomy R&D in Hyderabad, reporting to the Director of Autonomy.

2. Guide, mentor, and develop a team of Autonomy Engineers.

3. Scope out new project requirements.

4. Manage timelines and deliverables of the technology roadmap following an Agile process

5. Ability for hands-on contribution is a bonus.

Required Experience:

1. Background in Software Engineering, Robotics or related field.

2. 3 to 5 years of experience in an engineering lead or management role.

3. 3 to 5 years of experience in Robotics or related SWE field.

Required:

1. Software Engineering background. Python and C++

2. Experience with ROS/ROS2

3. Experience with Linux

4. Agile/Scrum experience
