Tag Management Engineer

Support tagging and tag management on our websites and mobile apps starting with the foundational setup and gap analysis followed by ongoing support with tag implementation and maintenance of Google Data Studio dashboards and monthly reporting.

EDUCATION

Undergraduate degree in a related field

JOB FUNCTIONS, EXPERIENCE &SKILLS

• GTM setup and tag implementation for all website and mobile applications
• Technical lead for implementation, maintenance, and future enhancements to GTM, GA4, BigQuery, Firebase, and Media Tagging for conversion events.
• Lead implementation of technical SEO enhancements for website properties, including post launch measurement capabilities
• Build and maintain Solution Design Reference documents detailing implementation details for new and existing event-based reporting. SEO Dashboard along with performance readouts
• Foundation & Tagging Setup Tagging Strategy and Implementation
• KPI and Tag Standardization
• Create custom dimensions in Google Analytics to report across key dimensions
• Measurement framework and tagging solutions
• Building a new GA4 (360) property that allows for cross-channel reporting across the website and mobile app for consumer facing brands.
• Tag Implementation & management
• Tagging Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Document for new content
• Develop and place analytics codes to support marketing efforts and updates to digital applications
• Provide solutions to track custom events in GA4, Media platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads, as well as Firebase for mobile app reporting and measurement.
• Support Google Analytics data into Google BigQuery
• Looker Studio Dashboard Maintenance & Reporting
• Ongoing maintenance of all Looker Studio dashboards for the Enterprise websites and mobile apps
• Ability to apply critical thinking, analyze information and establish resolution plan
• Self-motivated; able to work independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and to collaborate with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify quality solutions
• Strong organization; ability to prioritize tasks for self and team to meet requirements and deadlines
• Must be able to perform with a high level of accuracy under tight time constraints, execute assignments and set direction rather than require direction.
• Ability to handle large datasets, complex GL strings and multiple entities/currencies
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot table, vlookups and filtering experience)
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Comfortable with change and fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP system, Oracle Fixed Asset subledger and Hyperion Financial Management a plus
• Ability to update Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to keep all information confidential according to EEO guidelines.
