Position Overview. We are seeking an experienced Senior TypeScript Backend Developer to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will help design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services while working with our distributed team.

Key Responsibilities. Architect and develop robust, scalable backend services using TypeScript and Node.js. Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Optimize application performance and ensure high availability. Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features. Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to team members. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments. Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions. Required Skills & Experience. 5+ years of professional software development experience. 3+ years of hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js. Strong expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs. Proven experience with microservices architecture. Proficient in working with SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Strong understanding of security best practices. Experience with version control systems (Git). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Preferred Qualifications. Experience in life sciences or healthcare domain. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha). Understanding of GraphQL. Experience with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka). Technical Stack.
