Job Description
- Develop and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and forms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Create, recommend, and implement software solutions and objectives related to SAP systems.
- Perform configuration and customization work to support new and existing functionalities, assisting outside consultants as needed.
- Document and maintain all development processes, procedures, and technical specifications.
- Experienced in SAP Core ABAP RICEFW developments.
- Experience in SPDD/SPAU Activities
- Experienced in OData services and CDS Views
- Identify potential solutions for SAP issues, log problems, follow up with SAP (or other help/support desks) on potential solutions, and test and implement fixes.
- Assist in the implementation and testing of new releases, upgrades, or patches of SAP (or related systems).
- Ensure appropriate user security and authorization levels exist in the development area, coordinating and testing any required authorization changes.
- Participate in and lead initiatives related to SAP application development and software implementations.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding business-critical data, including company-wide performance, activities, direction, and other sensitive information.
- Ensure compliance with ISO and SOX guidelines.
- Experience with S4 HANA or FIORI application enablement is preferred.
- Integrate SAP applications with external systems and platforms as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of Experience in SAP ABAP
- Proven experience as an ABAP Developer with a strong understanding of SAP modules.
- Proficiency in Core ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP.
- Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, and Web Dynpro is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA and CDS views is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
