Mohan Mutha Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer specializing in road construction, asphalt production, and bitumen quality assurance. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of materials, processes, and final outputs for road infrastructure projects at our location in the Andaman Islands.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance & Control:

• Develop and implement quality control plans for road construction projects, focusing on asphalt and bitumen applications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as IRC, MORTH, and BIS for all construction and material quality aspects.
• Oversee production, handling, and application of asphalt and bitumen to maintain quality standards.

2. Material Testing & Inspection:

• Perform laboratory and on-site testing for bitumen (e.g., viscosity, penetration, softening point) and asphalt mix (e.g., Marshall Stability, gradation tests).
• Monitor the quality of aggregates and raw materials used in asphalt production.
• Inspect the mixing, laying, and compaction processes to ensure proper temperature, density, and uniformity.

3. Site Supervision:

• Supervise and guide on-site teams to ensure compliance with quality standards during road construction activities.
• Identify and address quality-related issues proactively to prevent delays or rework.

4. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive records of quality tests, inspection reports, and compliance certifications.
• Prepare and present detailed quality assurance reports to the project management team.

5. Coordination & Compliance:

• Collaborate with site engineers, contractors, and third-party agencies to ensure smooth execution of quality control measures.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
