     QC Manager

•         Create ready mix concrete designs to meet unique job specifications.
•         Enter approved mix designs into the dispatch database and download to plants.
•         Perform random volumetric testing of various mixes to assure we are providing quality air specs along with water to cement ratios.
•         Perform checks on drivers to assure they are maintaining correct slump and continuously stress the importance of concrete quality.
•         Routinely visit all plants to assure all materials are meeting expectations and all equipment (additives) are satisfying our needs.
•         Collect, document, and file data for future reference on a shared company drive.
•         Monitor daily and hourly orders as they come in and determine which projects need attention from QC. Verify all mix designs are meeting expectations prior to dispatching.
•         Dispatch QC staff to plants prior to the first truck being loaded. Relay expectations to the plant manager and QC for each job.
•         Dispatch personnel needed for on-site management.
•         Attend pre-construction meetings.
•         Establish a personal presence at commencement of high-profile projects and maintain a presence throughout, as needed on a case-by-case basis.
•         Communicate with the Department of Transportation, testing services, engineers, and owners/contractors as main contact within the company
• Negotiations with customer and concrete recipe mix.
