Sales Engineer Temperature Control (HVAC)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Title:    Sales Engineer Temperature Control (for Chennai Location)

Purpose of the Job:

To achieve monthly and annual sales revenue targets for the full range of MHS Temperature Control Products (Chillers, AC Units etc) and services in the relevant territory

Reports to:     Vice President

Key RESPONSIBILITIES:

Servicing of existing customer base and maintaining good working relations.

Development of new customers and new applications for existing customers.

Identification of new opportunities and new applications within the assigned geographical territory.

Promote all MHS products and services at all times.

Completion and submission of daily call reports and weekly call plans.

Presentation of new products to existing and new customers.

Generation of enquiries from customers.

Receiving enquiries, quoting for the work, negotiating contracts and securing orders.

Deliver Customer satisfaction.

Adhere to MHS policy and procedures.

Other Requirements:

Assist in collection of receivables.

Liaise and deal directly with clients at all levels.

Assist with submission of territory competitor review.

Assist with completion of asset verifications and stocks checks when required.

Maintain company confidentiality with sensitive information..

Promote safe working practices at all times.

• Any other duties considered essential for effective Business development.

Person Specification:

Able to work long hours in demanding conditions under pressure.

Willing to travel to required locations as and when required.

• Driving licence essential.
• Experience in selling or renting Chillers and or industrial HVAC equipment.
• Local market knowledge.
• Computer literate and can use spreadsheet calculations and MS Word.
• Young, mature outlook.
• Dedication and commitment to achieving objectives.
• Target driven and results orientated.
• Must demonstrate ability to work on own initiative.
• Must possess entrepreneurial skills, be able to think out of the box, and provide solutions.
• Must possess the desire to deliver very high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Good communication and negotiation skills
