Job Description
Typically requires 8-10 years of demonstrated experience.
6+ years of experience PeopleSoft or Oracle EBS or any other ERP Payroll system, Oracle Cloud HCM/Payroll a plus.
Strong functional expertise in the Payroll area and the ability to tie business requirements to system functionality.
Experience in supporting Payroll processes and ability to research and resolve technical issues quickly.
Experience deploying capabilities for large service-driven organizations.
Strong technical, analytical and communication skills along with a team-oriented attitude.
Strong data analysis skills and the ability to build complex data extraction processes using SQL and technical integration tools.
Ability to analyze complex issues or business requirements and produce detailed technical design specifications while following company standards.
Agile experience in engineering capabilities and an architectural mind-set.
Strong oral and written communication skills and a knack for explaining your decision-making process to non-engineers.
Ready to work on Split Shift (10 AM to 3 PM + 7 PM to 11 PM) remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Consultant is responsible for ongoing support, Maintenance, debugging and enhancements for the Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll module.
Analyze complex issues or business requirements and produce detailed technical design specifications while following company standards.
Provide expert level Payroll functional and technical knowledge while supporting and enhancing the Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll system.
Build complex data extraction / transformation / Integration with internal and external parties processes using SQL and technical integration tools.
Tie business requirements to system functionality in the Payroll area.
Collaborate with architects and technical leads on design decisions and direction.
Document interface architecture and plans for implementation with customer/vendors.
Provide support to Payroll processes and by research and resolve technical issues quickly.
Participate in design sessions with IT Architects and produce high- and low-level designs as necessary.
Collaborate with other engineers in the team to deliver new capabilities.
Quickly and effectively troubleshoot problems in development and production environments.
Review code and designs from other team members.
Provide suggestions on performance improvements of existing platform.
Coordinate with product owners and business partners to gather requirements and document them as needed.
