Online Merchandiser (4-6 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Product Listing & Management :

- Create, upload, and manage product listings on various e-commerce platforms.

- Ensure accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and pricing.

- Regularly update product catalogs to reflect changes in inventory, pricing, and promotions.

Merchandising Strategy :

- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and drive sales.

- Optimize product placement and categorization based on data-driven insights.

- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure consistent product promotion across digital channels.

Sales Analysis & Reporting :

- Monitor and analyze sales performance, conversion rates, and customer behavior.

- Prepare and present regular reports on product performance and sales trends.

- Utilize data to make informed decisions on product positioning and pricing strategies.

Inventory Management :

- Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure adequate stock levels.

- Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.

- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely product availability.

Customer Experience Enhancement :

- Optimize the user experience by ensuring a seamless product browsing and purchasing process.

- Implement strategies to improve product recommendations and cross-selling opportunities.

- Monitor customer feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Liaise with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and customer service.

- Work closely with the design and content teams to maintain a visually appealing online store.

- Ensure alignment with overall business objectives and brand guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Proven experience of 4+ years as an Online Merchandiser or in a similar role within the e-commerce industry.

- Strong understanding of online retail operations, product merchandising, and digital marketing.

- Proficient in using e-commerce platforms, CMS, and analytics tools.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Attention to detail and a creative mindset for enhancing product presentation.
