Seed Production Manager (10-16 yrs)

Job Description

As a Manage Seed Production, candidate has to take production of the selected varieties as per the commercial team requirement. He has to maintain forecast of 3 years and accordingly maintain the parent seed for the same.

Responsibilities:

- Develop Seed production channel for major OPV and Research varieties.

- Identifying the Seed producing geographies and model for seed production.

- Obtaining Breeder seed from institutions and organizing seed production.

- Maintaining the Parent seed line of the commercialized varieties.

- Liasoning with Govt. Authorities for the product license and notification.

- Updated with knowledge on the latest segments or the varieties.

- Jointly work with commercial team to ensure the right production volume and create forecasting for 3 years.

- Responsible for P&L of the Seed production.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree / Preferred Masters in Agriculture / Seed Technology or a related field.

- Minimum 10 years of experience in Seed production, Breeding and Govt. Liasoning.

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.

- Effective communication and leadership capabilities.

- Self-driven professional.
