Manager - Legal (10-16 yrs)

Position: Manager Legal

Location: Chennai

Client: Manufacturing

Job Purpose:

1. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand contract requirements and provide contract solutions;

2. Ability to lead, guide and mentor team ,excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including an impeccable command over English language;

3. Ability to identify, analyze, and suggest solutions for problems, customer complaints, and client concern;

Required Skills:

1. Law Graduate with minimum 10-15 years of corporate work experience

2. Good organization skills and the ability to multitask on several projects simultaneously.

3. Draft and vet various types of agreements, contracts, MOUs, deeds and documents which fulfill clients' needs and ensure maximum protection to the company;

4. Proofread, edit, and fact-check legal documents for accuracy and consistency and ensure that the terms of contracts are written in language that is legally binding and in accordance with the needs of the client, generate standard form of contracts wherever required;

5. Working knowledge of corporate, commercial and civil litigation management.

6. Solid exposure to variety of business agreements , complex agreements such as shareholders agreements, share purchase agreements, collaboration agreements, business transfer agreements, procurement contracts, construction contracts, commercial leases and other real estate contracts;

7. Establish and implement contract lifecycle management solution, digitize and archive contracts for ease of reference and access;

8. Working knowledge of various legal and regulatory compliances applicable to a company, intellectual property rights, privacy and data protection laws;

Additional Skills:

Advocate practice exp and or CS will be added qualification

May have to liaison with Police/Govt. departments
