Position : Datacenter
Year of Experience: 5-8 Years

Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:
- Datacenter Technologies: Deep knowledge of core datacenter technologies, including Servers, Storage VMware, Nutanix, Commvault/Veeam/Dell DPS , and Checkpoint/ Fortinet along with Windows Server
- Cloud Integration: Understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, and how on-premise datacenter solutions integrate with public clouds (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Virtualization and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI): Expertise in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware) and HCI platforms (e.g., Nutanix).
- Data Management and Protection: Proficiency in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Commvault, Veeam).
- Network Security: Strong understanding of network security, especially with technologies like Fortinet & Checkpoint.
- Infrastructure Design: Ability to design and architect datacenter solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Team Leadership: Proven experience in leading technical teams, including engineers, and project managers.
- Talent Development: Focus on mentoring and developing team members, providing opportunities for growth and certification in relevant technologies.
- Resource Management: Skills in resource planning, allocation, and optimization to ensure project success.
- Performance Management: Experience in conducting performance evaluations, setting goals, and managing team dynamics.
Project Management:
- Project Oversight: Expertise in managing datacenter projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Methodologies: Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project) would be very beneficial to the role
- Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with datacenter projects.
- Process Improvement: Commitment to continuous improvement in project delivery processes and methodologies.
Customer Facing:
- Customer-Centric Approach: Strong focus on understanding customer needs, building relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction by successfully completion of all projects
- Sales Support: Experience in supporting sales teams with technical expertise, and running assessments on customer infrastructures.
- Partner Management: Ability to manage relationships with technology partners, including vendors like VMware, Nutanix, Commvault, Veeam, and Fortinet and develop a set of strategic relationship with service organisation that will augment NewWave's current service delivery capability
Strategic Planning and Business Acumen:
- Business Strategy Alignment: Ability to align the datacenter practice with the organization's overall business strategy and goals.
- Market Analysis: Understanding of market trends and the competitive landscape in the datacenter space and align capabilities inside NewWave to best deliver those services
- Financial Management: Experience with P&L management, budgeting, and financial planning within a practice.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Technology Innovation: Commitment to staying current with emerging technologies and trends in the datacenter space.
- Process Innovation: Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the practice, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Solution Development: Involvement in the development of new services and solutions that leverage emerging technologies and meet evolving customer needs.
Certifications:
- Industry Certifications: Hold relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Nutanix Certified Professional, Fortinet NSE) and ensure the team achieves and maintains necessary certifications as needed by NewWave.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Performance Metrics: Ability to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the practice and team members
- Reporting: Regularly report on the practice's performance, including financials, project status, and customer satisfaction.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing, finance) to achieve business objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Skilled in managing and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Presentation Skills: Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
