Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with a strong understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing, enhancing, and maintaining custom SAP ABAP applications, leveraging SAP BTP services such as SAP Fiori, SAP HANA, and cloud-based integrations. Key Responsibilities :

1. SAP ABAP Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, forms, and interfaces in SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments.

- Work on enhancements and modifications to standard SAP functionality, ensuring adherence to business requirements and SAP best practices.

- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ABAP code to ensure high-quality and efficient solutions.

- Collaborate with functional teams to analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

2. Integration with SAP BTP :

- Leverage SAP Business Technology Platform to integrate SAP applications with cloud-based services, ensuring seamless data flow between on-premise and cloud environments.

- Use BTP tools and services like SAP Integration Suite, SAP Fiori, and SAP HANA Cloud to enhance and optimize existing applications.

- Build and maintain cloud-based extensions and applications on SAP BTP, utilizing platforms such as SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP HANA for improved business processes.

- Integrate SAP systems with third-party applications and services using RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and other integration protocols.

3. SAP Fiori and UI5 Development :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5, ensuring an optimal user experience and modern, responsive designs.

- Customize and extend standard Fiori applications to meet specific business needs.

- Work closely with the UX/UI design team to implement the best practices in Fiori design and architecture.

4. Performance Optimization :

- Monitor and optimize ABAP code for performance improvements, leveraging advanced techniques such as parallel processing, buffering, and the use of appropriate indexes in SAP HANA.

- Apply best practices for code performance in both on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring fast and scalable solutions.

5. Collaboration and Documentation :

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, project managers, and IT operations teams, to deliver SAP projects on time and within scope.

- Prepare detailed technical documentation for ABAP development, customizations, integrations, and BTP configurations.

- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to internal best practices and standards.

6. Continuous Improvement :

- Stay up to date with the latest developments in SAP technologies, especially related to SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA, and ABAP programming.

- Identify opportunities for process automation, improvement, and optimization through technology advancements on the SAP BTP platform.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience :

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with at least 2 years of experience in SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and cloud solutions.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori/UI5, and SAP HANA Cloud is highly desirable.

- Strong hands-on experience with ABAP development, including data dictionary, reports, BAPIs, BADIs, and IDocs.

- Knowledge of integration technologies (PI/PO, APIs, Web Services, RESTful services).

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Skills :

- Proficient in SAP ABAP programming.

- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP HANA.

- Strong understanding of SAP BTP tools, services, and integration capabilities.

- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of version control systems and transport management in SAP landscapes.
