Java Support Engineer - Troubleshooting (6-7 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Java-based applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimal downtime.

- Manage and maintain applications built with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture, handling incidents, debugging issues, and implementing solutions.

- Collaborate with the development team to implement minor enhancements and bug fixes as needed, ensuring seamless functionality and high-quality performance.

- Monitor application performance, perform root cause analysis for recurring issues, and suggest improvements to prevent future problems.

- Assist in deployments, configurations, and release management activities, working closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams.

- Document support procedures, troubleshooting steps, and application knowledge base for future reference.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, Product, and DevOps, to ensure all support processes are aligned with best practices.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Strong expertise in Java, with experience in application support and maintenance.

- Proficient in Spring Boot and Microservices, with a deep understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.

- Experience in debugging, log analysis, and performance monitoring tools for Java applications.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and provide effective solutions.

- Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
