Datacenter Lead - Cloud Integration (3-4 yrs)

As a Data Centre Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the data center. You will ensure the smooth functioning of data storage, virtualization, cloud integration, and the overall infrastructure. This role involves managing and maintaining high availability, performance, and security of the data center while leading a technical team to handle any challenges.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Center Operations Management :

- Lead and manage all aspects of data center operations, including storage systems, server infrastructure, and virtualization.

- Ensure high availability and performance of systems to meet business and client needs.

Storage Management :

- Oversee the storage infrastructure, particularly VMware, Nutanix, and other storage technologies.

- Ensure the efficient utilization and scalability of storage resources.

Virtualization and Cloud Integration :

- Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Nutanix, ensuring seamless integration with cloud platforms.

- Work on cloud integration initiatives to extend on-premises infrastructure with cloud services.

Team Leadership :

- Lead and mentor a technical team responsible for the management and maintenance of the data center.

- Provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards.

Security & Compliance :

- Ensure that all data center operations comply with industry regulations, security protocols, and company policies.

- Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and systems.

System Monitoring & Performance Optimization :

- Monitor system performance and uptime, troubleshoot issues, and perform proactive maintenance to prevent downtime.

- Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies to improve system efficiency.

Disaster Recovery & Backup :

- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and backup procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

- Coordinate regular testing of disaster recovery procedures.

Reporting & Documentation :

- Generate reports on system performance, resource usage, and incident management.

- Maintain detailed documentation of all systems, processes, and configurations.

Key Skills Required :

- Strong technical expertise in Storage (VMware, Nutanix) and Cloud Integration.

- Deep understanding of data center operations, including server infrastructure, networking, and virtualization.

- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and team management skills.

- Knowledge of security protocols, compliance, and disaster recovery practices.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
