Role & responsibilities

• To strictly follow Man & Material movement during operation.
• Carry out process operations as defined in the Protocols & SOP's
• Raw Material Issuance
• Media preparation & sterilization, Buffer & Stock solution preparation/Filtration Transfer of additives, buffers and media
• To carry out in process sampling for IPQC, QC & Microbiology.
• Suggest the changes / scientific facts and data to improve the process Quality and Quantity.
• Execution of the planned activities as per standard operating procedures and protocols.
• To carry out equipment cleaning (CIP) as defined in Standard Operating procedure (SOP) and online filling of equipment usage logbooks.
• o carry out all the assigned shift activities by strictly adhering to the Standard operating procedures, systems, instructions governing the respective functions.
• To report for the shift well ahead of time inside the plant, receive the instructions from the shift In-charge clearly without any ambiguity, consulting the shift In-charge for any clarification related to the work promptly, reporting any abnormality, noncompliance/ deviations, unsafe conditions immediately to the shift In-Charge
• Ensure that pre-checks are done before executing any assigned activity.
• The relevant area is clean
• Batch records/ SOP's, operating instructions, log books and other relevant records are available for online and on time updation.
• All the materials, accessories, consumables are available and verified for the suitability before usage.
• The respective vessels, containers and accessories are cleaned and released/suitable for carrying out the process.
• Co-ordination with QC for sample testing and filters for Integrity.
• Batch Monitoring and controlling at Fermentation / Recovery / DSP section.
• To Notify the Engineering department for related problems strictly through work order.
• To ensure that all the equipment, systems are operated as per the instructions without causing any damage or breakdown due to negligence.
• To ensure that process accessories and consumables after usage and cleaning are stored and organized in respective locations as defined in SOP.
• To ensure ERP related activity are online.
• To ensure the area is readiness for Audit.
• To ensure smooth run of projects taken by department.
• To facilitate the training of the peers.
