Software Engineer II, in Test

As a part of our latest transformation, we are searching for a mid level QA Engineer with Automation knowledge to join our rapidly growing Bangalore Center of Excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring quality is at the heart of engineering practices, with a bias towards test and tooling automation. Additional responsibilities include reviewing functional and technical requirements, performing research, designing solutions, and developing QA solutions for web-based and desktop enterprise applications. Automated testing experience is a requirement for this role. Candidates lacking automated testing experience will not be considered.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive test cases to verify that software meets expected criteria and meets quality standards. This requires a deep understanding of the software's architecture and intended use.
• Execute automated scripts through Jenkins/ Azure pipeline.
• Collaborate with developers during the design and implementation phases to provide valuable input on potential quality issues and suggest improvements.
• Identify and report defects in the application. Verify bug fix has been implemented correctly.
• Perform different types of testing i.e. Smoke, Functional, Integration, Regression.
  Work closely with the Product Owner and scrum team(s) to help deliver high quality features inside of agreed timescales.
• Lead by example by contributing to a culture of high quality, personal ownership and customer focused execution.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years proven experience in testing Web Applications
• 3+ years of experience in performing different types of Testing on QA, UAT/PROD environments
• 2+ years, experience in Test analysis, RCA, Test Coverage
• 2+ years. Test Cases Management Systems like TestRail or Azure Test Plans or any other tools.
• 3+ years. Proficiency in authoring, reviewing, and executing manual test cases
• 1+ years. Cloud Platforms Development (Azure).
• 2+ years. SQL and relational database concepts. Azure SQL
• Exposure to Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practices. Azure DevOps is a plus.
• 2+ Years, experience in bug triaging.
• 1+ Years experience in API testing using Postman and Automation using Java

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Agile, Scrum
• Rest API using Postman or SOAPUI
• Test Case automation using Selenium & Java ,C# or Python
• Test Management Tool - Test Rail or Azure Test Plan
• Azure DevOps Or Jira
