Data Analyst

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst to join our team and drive data-driven decision-making. You will play a critical role in shaping our products by analyzing learner and teacher behavior, evaluating the effectiveness of educational tools, and providing actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve user engagement and optimize our platform for primary school students and educators

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Insights:
• Analyze user data (students, teachers, parents) to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of educational features and recommend improvements.
• Provide insights on user engagement, retention, and performance metrics.
• Reporting & Visualization:
• Build and maintain dashboards to visualize KPIs for internal stakeholders.
• Present data insights in clear, compelling ways to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Product & Business Support:
• Collaborate with product teams to conduct A/B testing and evaluate feature performance.
• Support marketing and sales teams with data-driven campaign performance analysis.
• Monitor key business metrics and alert teams to anomalies or opportunities.
• Data Integrity & Governance:
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across platforms.
• Establish best practices for data collection, storage, and analysis.
• Mentorship & Leadership:
• Mentor junior analysts in analytical techniques, tools, and best practices.
• Contribute to building a culture of data literacy within the organization.

Key Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 1 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within edtech, e-commerce, or a SaaS environment.
• Proven experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Hands-on experience with SQL for data querying.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, or other analytical programming languages.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL pipelines, and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift).
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with data on childrens learning outcomes or educational metrics.
• Familiarity with education technology platforms and their data ecosystems.
• Understanding of ethical considerations in handling childrens data.
