Job Description (JD) for an Assistant Manager - HR:
Job Title: Assistant Manager - HR
Reports to: Manager - HR/Head of HR
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager - HR to support our HR team. The successful candidate will assist in implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the organization's HR goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent acquisition:
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment process.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and procedures.
2. Compensation and Benefits
Compensation Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement compensation strategies aligned with the organizationâs goals.
- Conduct market research to ensure competitive and equitable pay scales.
- Review and recommend adjustments to pay structures based on industry trends and internal evaluations.
Salary and Benefits Administration:
- Administer salary structures and ensure timely and accurate salary payments.
-Oversee the design and management of employee benefits programs (e.g., health insurance, retirement plans, bonuses, and allowances).
-Monitor and ensure compliance with government regulations related to compensation and benefits.
3. Employee Engagement and Relations:
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions.
- Foster positive employee relations.
4. Performance Management:
- Assist in performance management process.
- Coordinate with managers to ensure timely completion of performance evaluations.
5. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions.
- Assist in developing and implementing training programs.
6. HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
7. Analytics and Reporting:
- Prepare HR reports and analytics.
- Provide insights to management for informed decision-making.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree (MBA in HR/related field).
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in HR, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and HR software.
