1. Job Details

Job Title- Senior Executive / Asst. Manager-Internal Audit Team

Area- Accounts & Finance

Location- Kothrud, Pune

Reporting- Authority Manager Internal Audit

2. Job Purpose

• To ensure correct internal Audit controls are followed 3. Key Accountability

Strategic

• To implement internal controls in all academic and non-academic departments and analysing the records.

Operations

• Preparing Audit plans with relevant frequency based on needs of various internal departments.
• Identifying and analysing risks mitigated with business processes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal audit policies, procedures in accordance with local and international best practices.
• Document the results of audit, including internal controls weaknesses and/ or improvement opportunities
• Executing and reviewing the Audit program.
• Conduct internal audit reviews across the different business processes and work back with respective business leaders/ heads to close the gaps.
• Document the results of audit, including internal controls weaknesses and/ or improvement opportunities
• Conduct adhoc investigations into identified or reported risks
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document process with reporting to designated authorities.
• Ensure complete, accurate and timely audit information is reported to Management and/or risk committees
• Present summarised findings concerning audit results and trends for internal groups and companies.
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievements.
• Assess best financial practices for an organisation and makes relevant, informed suggestions

Research & Development

• Staying abreast of developments, research & trends within the areas of responsibilities.

Financial and Budget

• Analysing and finding more lucrative measures and practices in finance functions.

Collaborations

• Liaoning with consultants, auditors.
• Managing team for preparing various reports as and required by management.
• Timely and effective communication with internal departments for issue resolution.

Academic

• Continuously strive for excelling within the areas of responsibilities through learning and adoption of best practices.

External Representation

• Represent organisation on various professional bodies of repute which is value adding building relationship with the community, government agencies, society at large & with ultimate objective of building organisation brand. 4. Person Specification
• Require ability to work independently under general supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgement
• Analytical Thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Excellent report writing and presentation skills

Minimum Qualification & Experience • CA with 3 to 5 Years experience in Internal Audit, preferable from reputed Accounting and audit firm.

• Proven work experience as an auditor • Advance Excel skills will be prefe
