We are currently hiring for Executive- Social Media at MIT World Peace University for Kothrud- Pune Location.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and versatile social media marketing manager who is hungry to

do this and more. Our ideal candidate has experience developing and executing social marketing

campaigns while managing and inspiring a team. He/she will be comfortable with day-to-day

marketing activities, as well as long-term strategy, thriving with tight deadlines and changing

needs.

3. Key Accountability

Strategic

• Develops and execute India Social media strategy that uses appropriate messages,

methods, and medium to create a clear understanding of regional offerings for targeted

customers within the marketplace.

• Conceiving and develop efficient and intuitive Social media communications strategies in-

line with the business strategy.

Operational

• Supports the overall business growth through Social media, Content Marketing, media

relations, third-party partnerships, manager of extern vendors / PR agencies.

• Focus on enhancing the brand engagement to support business
• This position will support overall business units in increasing the brand value in India

market through various Social media activities.

Research & Development

• Benchmark and measure the effectiveness of selling messages Social media

communications projects

Financial and Budget

• Ensure budget pertaining to your areas of function is utilized, optimized and tracked

Collaborations

• Develop and maintain internal and external contacts to ensure effective integration of

Social media & Content Marketing into product line and marketing management to

continually test the validity of marketing recommendations..

Academic

• Promote the culture of positivity, collaboration, continuous improvement, and

commitment to quality in all aspects of online marketing communications activities

External Representation

• Represent MIT WPU on various Social media platforms, Forums & Communities with

ultimate objective of building MIT WPU brand

4. Person Specification

Substantial leadership and management experience

• Able to provide effective and inspiring leadership by being actively involved in all programs

and services, developing a broad and deep knowledge of all programs

External relations and Corporate engagement

The ability to advocate at the highest levels regionally and nationally on behalf of the

University and to influence the decision maker.

Personal attributes and style

• A strong commitment to MIT WPU and its vision, ambitions, and values
• The ability to relate to and communicate effectively with staff at all levels in the Division,

engaging them with the Universitys vision and plans;

• A personal commitment to and record in effective and respectful partnership working

across all staff groups;

• Sound judgement and the ability and courage to make difficult but informed decisions,

Minimum Qualification & Experience

• Graduate/Postgraduate, 1-3 years of experience in Social media & content marketing
• Good understanding of social media, Influencer Marketing and digital marketing
• Passionate storyteller who can persuade, inspire, and create emotional connections with

target audiences as needed to drive behaviors.
