Field Operations Coordinator - Telecom Projects

Job Description

We are seeking a Field Operations Coordinator with a strong technical background in telecom network equipment installation and commissioning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring daily field activities, preparing progress reports, ensuring task completion in the mobile application, and compiling Acceptance Test Reports (AT). This role requires excellent communication, technical expertise, and organizational skills to coordinate with the field team and ensure project milestones are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Activity Tracking:

• Capture and document daily field activities from technicians and engineers.
• Prepare and maintain a detailed daily tracker report to provide updates on project progress.

2. Acceptance Test Reporting:

• Draft and finalize technical Acceptance Test Reports (AT) to submit to customers upon project completion.
• Ensure reports meet customer and company quality standards.

3. Task Monitoring:

• Follow up with field teams to ensure job tasks are completed on time and updated in the mobile application.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for mobile application issues related to task tracking.

4. Coordination and Follow-ups:

• Act as the bridge between field teams and management to ensure smooth project execution.
• Communicate daily updates and escalate issues as required.
• Technical Skills:
• understanding of telecom network equipment (e.g., BTS, MW, routers, switches).
• Ability to create and validate Acceptance Test Reports (AT).
• Proficient in using project management and mobile tracking applications.
• Communication Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication to liaise with field teams and customers.
• Strong follow-up skills to ensure task completion.
• Organizational Skills:
• Strong ability to track multiple ongoing projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Tools: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), and familiarity with mobile apps used for project tracking.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in telecom installations.
