Job Description
- Basic knowledge of electronic components and their interfaces is the primary skill.
- PCB knowledge
- PCB design software
- PCB layer stack-up
- PCB design rules
- Mechanical Interface
- Instruments cluster is extra advantages.
- Sound Knowledge in HIGH SPEED, Latest interface methods (Bluetooth,CAN,USB…).
- Interaction with engineering teams like hardware, mechanical to finalize the PCB layout structure and circuit to proceed for PCB artwork design using Pads (Mentor Graphics) tool
- Designing with Internal Design Guidelines for Placement, Routing and better Electromagnetic Compatibility design.
- Very good interaction with in-house groups for assembly and for the design guidelines to meet design for manufacturability (DFM).
- Interaction with supplier for clarification on the process and getting the PCB for further processes
- Creation of Local Component Footprint Library.
- Good knowledge in PCB materials and assembly practices.
- Sound Knowledge in Material Selection, Layer Stack up.
