Role:
The Head of Analytics and Strategy will lead the analytics function, develop and implement strategic initiatives, and ensure that business reporting and data representation support the company's goals. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights, develop performance metrics, and design reporting frameworks that enhance decision-making processes across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Strategy Development and Execution:
- Lead the development and execution of the company and analytics and strategy initiatives.
- Partner with senior leadership to align analytics strategies with overall business objectives.
- Identify and prioritize strategic opportunities based on data-driven insights.
- Drive the implementation of analytics tools and methodologies to support strategic decision-making.
Business Reporting and Data Representation:
- Oversee the development and maintenance of business reporting frameworks, ensuring they are aligned with organizational goals.
- Design and manage dashboards and data visualization tools to represent complex data in an easily understandable format.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all business reports.
- Work with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and develop customized reporting solutions.
Data Management and Governance:
- Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the quality and security of data across the organization.
- Lead initiatives to improve data management practices, including data collection, storage, and retrieval processes.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate data from various sources into a unified system for comprehensive analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with departments such as Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Finance to -provide analytical support and drive business outcomes.
- Collaborate with product teams to develop data-driven strategies for product development and customer engagement.
- Act as a key point of contact for data and analytics-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Performance Measurement and Reporting:
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business strategies.
- Provide regular reports to senior leadership on the performance of various business units and initiatives.
- Utilize advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modeling and machine learning, to forecast trends and identify growth opportunities.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in analytics, business reporting, and data representation.
- Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies and methodologies to enhance the company's analytics capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and data representation techniques.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred from IIMs / XLRI /ISB etc
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in analytics, strategy development, or business intelligence roles, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership position. Strong expertise in business reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PPT, Power BI, etc.).
