About the Role :

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Windchill Developers to join our team on a contractual basis. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customizations and extensions to our Windchill PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system.

This role requires a strong understanding of Windchill architecture, customization techniques, and related technologies. You will work closely with other developers, business analysts, and end-users to deliver robust and scalable solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain customizations and extensions to the Windchill platform.

- Design and implement data migration and upgrade strategies for Windchill.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windchill functionality and performance.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Collaborate with business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and training materials.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Windchill features and best practices.

- Provide technical support to end-users.

- Participate in Agile development methodologies.

Required Skills :

- This includes experience with various Windchill modules and functionalities, such as PDMLink, ProjectLink, PartsLink, etc.

- Demonstrated ability to customize workflows, lifecycles, types, attributes, and user interfaces.

- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

- Experience with Java development for Windchill server-side customizations.

- Experience developing dynamic web pages using JSP and JavaScript for Windchill UI customizations.

- Knowledge of related technologies such as HTML, CSS, and AJAX.

- Ability to use Windchill APIs to integrate with other systems.

- Familiarity with product lifecycle management processes and best practices.

- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.

- Ability to work effectively with other developers, business analysts, and end-users.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Windchill administration and configuration.

- Knowledge of other PLM systems.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).

- Experience with Windchill performance tuning and optimization.
