Data Scientist - Generative AI (5-10 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Data Scientist with a strong background in machine learning and a demonstrated interest in generative AI and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and deploying advanced machine learning models, exploring and implementing generative AI techniques, and contributing to the development of innovative data-driven solutions. You will work with large datasets, leverage your programming expertise in Python and SQL, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for various applications, including classification, regression, clustering, and time series analysis.

- Evaluate model performance and optimize models for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

- Implement machine learning algorithms and techniques to solve real-world business problems.

- Explore and implement generative AI techniques, including large language models (LLMs), for tasks such as text generation, image generation, and data synthesis.

- Develop and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to enhance the accuracy and relevance of generative AI outputs.

- Stay current with the newest trends in Generative AI.

- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources.

- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and insights.

- Develop and implement data pipelines for efficient data processing and feature engineering.

- Write clean, scalable, and production-ready Python code, adhering to strong object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

- Develop and maintain SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.

- Utilize relevant Python libraries and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders.

- Communicate complex technical concepts and findings clearly and concisely.

- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

- Document code and processes.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and generative AI.

- Conduct research and experimentation to explore new techniques and approaches.

- Contribute to the development of innovative data-driven solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning.

- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience in generative AI and RAG systems.

- Strong proficiency in Python programming, including OOP concepts.

- Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and manipulation.

- Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

- Experience with large language models (LLMs) and transformer-based architectures.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with deploying machine learning models in production environments.

- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

- Experience with Vector databases.

- Knowledge of NLP techniques.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
