Technology Platform Engineer - Ansible/Terraform (8-10 yrs)

About the Role :

As a Technology Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in establishing and managing robust cloud environments for our data science and machine learning projects. You will be responsible for automating the deployment and configuration of these environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) to support data science and machine learning workloads.

- Configure and manage cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation to automate environment provisioning and configuration.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process.

- Monitor and optimize platform performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the platform.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.

- Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines.

- Ensure data quality, security, and privacy.

- Deploy and manage machine learning models to production environments.

- Monitor model performance and retrain as needed.

Required Skills and Experience :

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Expertise in automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation)

- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash)

- Understanding of data engineering concepts and tools (ETL, data pipelines)

- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)

- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
