DevOps Engineer - AWS Infrastructure (5-7 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform.

- Configure API Gateways and ensure robust security practices following IAM best practices.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

- Implement best practices for software release management.

- Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems using AWS CloudWatch and other tools to proactively identify and address issues.

- Automate tasks using scripting languages like Python, Typescript, Golang, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Work with container-based architectures and orchestration tools (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).

- Design, implement, and manage serverless applications using AWS Lambda or similar technologies.

- Collaborate effectively with development teams, operations teams, and other stakeholders.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.

- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.

- Participate in on-call rotations as needed.

- Implement and enforce security best practices across the infrastructure and applications.

- Experience with advanced authentication technologies (federated auth, SSO) is a plus.

- Performance Optimization : Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud infrastructure and applications.

- Analyze network traffic and identify bottlenecks (tcpdump, network flow security analysis).

- Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for infrastructure, deployments, and processes.

Basic Qualifications :

- 1+ years coding in either Python, Typescript, or Golang.

- 1+ years scripting experience in Bash or PowerShell.

- 5+ years of networking experience (security, DNS, VPN, Cloud, load balancing).

- 5+ years of systems administration experience with at least one operating system (Linux or Windows).

- 2+ years' experience with AWS, including :

1. Deployments using Terraform.

2. API Gateway configurations.

3. AWS Security and IAM experience (certification preferred).

4. Kafka deployment experience.

5. AWS CloudWatch setup experience for ongoing monitoring.

Desired Experience & Skills :

- 4+ years of CI/CD experience.

- 2+ years of serverless or container-based architecture experience.

- 2+ years of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) experience.

- Ability to autonomously contribute to cloud and application orchestration code and actively participate in peer reviews.

- Ability to deploy and manage common tools (Jenkins, monitoring, logging, SCM, etc.) from code.

- Advanced networking skills (tcpdump, network flow security analysis, understanding metrics between microservices).

- Experience with advanced authentication technologies (federated auth, SSO).

- Fluency in Agile practices
