Deputy Manager

Position: Deputy Manager E1 Treasury

Location: Chennai

Reporting to: Manager

Profile Description:

• Overall management of Treasury Operations at OGBS
• Ensure SLA compliance of the offshore treasury teams current delivery to meet internal / corporate deadlines and highest quality standards Timelines & Accuracy
• Journals – Bank Charges, LC Charges, Interest Accruals and others – ensure Journal entries are independently reviewed, validated, authorized, and properly recorded in the appropriate accounting period.
• Forex Forward Cover Contracts Creation
• LC Update and Documentation in system (Issuance, Amendment & Acceptance)
• Allocation of Bank Transactions to BUs / Products – Receipts, Payments, Charges
• Reconciliations – Bank Account Recons, Loan Recons, LC Recons, Forex Recons
• Cash Flow Regularization
• Month End Processing
• Management Reporting
• Audit – Quarterly and Annual
• Chart of Accounts Review
• Ensure all treasury processes incl. controls and reviews are well established and documented
• Gain hands-on knowledge on team’s deliverables and ensure proper information is provided to Corporate Treasury and BU / Origin Finance Teams as required!
• Partner with the Corporate Treasury Team and SAP Team to ensure smooth and stable migration from Oracle to SAP HANA based Treasury Management System

Required skillset:

• 2+ yrs in Treasury domain (preferably with Captive experience)
• Commerce Degree from an Institute of repute with Chartered Accountancy/Cost Accountancy qualification
• Strong Functional & Analytical skills

• Exceptional Leadership Skills
• Ability to handle pressure and work in an environment of strict deadlines
• Ease with technology
