Job Description
- Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- (1-3) years work experience as a data analyst or in a related field
- Knowledge of programming languages like R, MongoDB, and Python, with MongoDB as a mandatory skill
- Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects, programming (JavaScript, XML, or ETL frameworks), and databases
- Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, and SAS to be used for data set analysis
- Adept at using data processing platforms like Hadoop and Apache Spark
- Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques of data mining and segmentation
- Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, Qlik
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
