Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Process Engineer to improve and optimize our packaging manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes, ensuring that quality standards are met, and driving continuous improvements within the packaging production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, analyze, and optimize packaging processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and resolve process issues, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks in the production lines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and production methodologies.
• Conduct process audits and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
• Design and implement process changes to improve product quality and reduce defects.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff regarding new processes, equipment, and best practices.
• Work with the quality control team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Support the development of new packaging products and processes to meet customer needs and requirements.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety guidelines and promoting safety awareness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, industrial designer.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Process Engineer in the packaging industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of packaging technologies, materials, and production processes.
• Proficiency in process modeling software and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement innovative solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automation systems and packaging machinery.
• Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of environmental and sustainability practices in the packaging industry.
