Director Business Development & Strategic Alliances

Job Summary:

The Director will lead the organization’s business growth initiatives by leveraging their expertise in dealing with government departments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and large enterprises. This role requires a deep understanding of technology trends and a proven ability to acquire new business, develop strategic alliances, and drive closure of high-value opportunities.

Drive End-to-End Business Development Process:

  • Lead the identification, engagement, and acquisition of business opportunities with government departments, PSUs, and large enterprises.

Develop and Implement Strategies:

  • Create and execute strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Establish Strategic Alliances:

  • Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships to maximize the company’s participation in business opportunities, enhancing future project qualifications and revenue potential.

Build and Maintain Relationships:

  • Foster strong relationships with senior officials and key decision-makers across relevant government departments, PSUs, and large enterprises.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of emerging technologies with significant potential in the future of the ITES industry.

Lead Business Development and Marketing Teams:

  • Collaborate with the business development and marketing teams to achieve business goals and meet client requirements.

Market Research:

  • Conduct comprehensive research on market trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.

Provide Strategic Insights:

  • Offer valuable insights to the leadership team to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.

Experience:

i.     Minimum of 15+ years of experience in business development or leadership roles within the ITES industry.

ii.    Proven track record of engaging with government departments, PSUs, and large enterprises.

iii.    Experience in closing large deals and managing strategic alliances.

iv.     Strong understanding of ITES technologies, digital transformation, and emerging tech trends.

i.   Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

ii.  Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

iii.  Ability to navigate complex decision-making processes in government and enterprise settings.

Service officer carrying equivalent experience is also eligible for this post.
