Core MYSQL Database Administrator (DBA)

Role & responsibilities

Mandate Skills - MySQL DBA; Azure DBA, Linux

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing SQL Server databases

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server architecture, database design, and administration.
• Expertise in T-SQL for writing and debugging scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Experience with high availability and disaster recovery setups, including Always On and failover clustering.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery tools and strategies.
• Knowledge of security protocols and compliance frameworks for database systems.
• Experience with cloud-based SQL services (Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS).
• Exposure to monitoring tools like Redgate, SolarWinds DPA, or SQL Sentry.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and database automation tools.
• Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI for ETL and reporting tasks.
• Experience with other Databases - MySQL, MongoDB etc.
