Staff/Principal AI/ML Engineer

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Smart Manufacturing and AI, Data Science, Product Engineering and other teams of SMEs, data scientists and data engineers, to drive the AI strategy and implementation with the existing systems and to brainstorm software/AI/ML solutions.

Develop Proof-of-concepts (PoC) to assess the feasibility and performance of various AI models and to demonstrate the potential benefits to stakeholders.

Clean, Preprocess and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and to train and optimize AI models.

Develop, Automate, and Orchestrate an Ecosystem of ETL Processes for Varying Volumes of Data.

Build data analysis, data crunching and reporting tools to support engineering experiments.

Drive the adoption of automation tools and practices to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. Test software applications to ensure functionality and performance.

Routinely communicate overall project status to leadership and cross functional product team. Provide guidance through debug and resolution of product related issues. Qualifications. Successful candidates for this exciting opportunity will have. 6+ years of strong hands-on experience in developing, delivering, and/or supporting data engineering, sophisticated analytics or business intelligence solutions.

Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and frameworks and proficiency in AI methodologies and tools. Expertise in big data processing and/or developing applications and data sources via GCP Services like GCS, BigQuery, DataProc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Big Table, Cloud Composer/Cloud Workflows etc Experience in working with cloud data warehousing such as Snowflake and strong knowledge of SQL.

Programming Proficiency in Python. Statistical Analysis Strong background in statistics and probability. Excellent data analysis, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently in a very fast paced environment and adapt to change. Drive to determine root-cause and provide corrective action for product issues. Self-motivated and enthusiastic in a challenging, dynamic environment. Demonstrated ability to partner successfully with other groups to build strong peer relationships and achieve the best outcomes for Micron. Education. Position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronics.

Course work in AI/ML, VLSI, semiconductor process is desirable, but not required.
