Requirement

• As a Purchase Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's operations by managing the procurement process. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role requires strong integrity, good negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Zero tolerance to unethical practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Buying goods, products, and services for our university
• Researching suppliers and vendors
• Ensuring that stock levels are maintained
• Timely delivery of goods, products with no compromise on quality
• Performing quality assurance on the goods, services.
• Creating, maintaining, and updating records of orders, payments, and stocks
• Identifying opportunities to reduce costs as a cost controller
• Negotiating deals to get the best price for the company's needs
• Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and buyers
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

Interpersonal Skills

• Analytical skills for evaluating supplier performance, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and making data-driven decisions.
• Public relations and management.
• Effective negotiation skills for securing the best prices, terms, and conditions from suppliers.
• Familiarity with procurement software and supply chain management systems.
• Risk Management to identify and mitigate risks in procurement.

Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with procurement software and supply chain management systems.
