Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic fresher to join our IT department in the pharmaceutical industry. As an IT Support Associate, you will assist in maintaining and supporting IT systems, networks, and software applications. You will work closely with senior IT professionals to ensure smooth operations, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the technology infrastructure essential to our pharmaceutical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Provide first-line support for hardware and software issues, troubleshooting and resolving IT-related problems for employees.
• System Maintenance: Assist with maintaining and monitoring computer systems, servers, and other network devices.
• Software Installation & Updates: Help install, configure, and update pharmaceutical software applications, tools, and systems.
• Data Backup & Security: Assist in managing data backup processes and maintaining security protocols to protect sensitive company data.
• Network Support: Assist with the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and internet connectivity.
• Documentation: Maintain records of hardware/software inventory, support tickets, and user requests.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to handle sensitive data and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Attributes:

• Basic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the importance of IT systems in research, manufacturing, and compliance.
• Internship or project experience in IT support or related fields will be an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
