Stores Assistant, Mohali Location.

We are seeking a diligent and organized Stores Assistant to join our Mohali warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting the warehouse team in meeting operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:
  
• Assist in receiving, storing, and issuing pharmaceutical products in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Accurately record all incoming and outgoing products in the inventory management system.
• Ensure stock levels are maintained and report any discrepancies or stockouts to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Assist in regular stock checks (cycle counting and annual physical inventory).

• Storage & Handling
  
• Ensure products are stored in designated areas with proper labels, stock rotation, and temperature control as required.
• Handle products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring a safe working environment.

• Documentation & Compliance:
  
• Maintain accurate records of all stock movements, including receipts, dispatches, and transfers.
• Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., batch numbers, expiry dates).
• Assist with preparing inventory reports and audits as required by the management team.

• Support Shipping/Receiving:
  
• Assist in the unloading, checking, and storing of incoming shipments.
• Help with packaging and preparing products for dispatch as per customer or internal requirements.
• Collaborate with the transport team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of products.

• Communication & Coordination:
  
• Coordinate with various departments (procurement, quality control, and production) for smooth material handling and product availability.
• Assist in managing returns and damages, ensuring proper documentation is completed.

• Safety and Quality Assurance:
  
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and SOPs to prevent workplace accidents.
• Ensure pharmaceutical products are handled according to health and safety regulations.
• Report any issues related to product quality or safety concerns to the management.

• Experience:
  
• Previous experience in a warehouse or stores assistant role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management software, and pharmaceutical regulations (GMP, GDP).
