Lead Solution Architect - Connected Vehicles (12-14 yrs)

Brief Overview of the Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to lead the development of product roadmaps, collaborate on technical strategies, and engage in customer interactions within our Connected Vehicles practice.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android middleware, embedded systems, and a proven track record in enhancing customer satisfaction through innovative technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning: Formulate comprehensive product roadmaps and develop robust software architectures aligned with our strategic objectives.

- Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with customers to translate requirements into technical solutions, ensuring high satisfaction levels.

- Technical Leadership: Elevate team capabilities through mentorship, streamline processes, and conduct technical impact analyses to optimize product design and performance.

- Innovation: Implement automation and toolchains, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

- Solution Development: Craft and propose technical solutions that address complex challenges, providing accurate task estimates.

Technologies to be used:

- Android AOSP build system, Framework and HAL development

- Communication protocols: CAN, LIN, UDS

- Programming Languages: C++, Linux

- Yocto Build and CI/CD processes

Qualifications:

- Engineering degree in relevant field

- 12+ years of experience in system/software engineering, preferably in the Automotive/Aerospace sectors

Knowledge:

- In-depth knowledge of Android middleware and embedded systems

- Familiarity with configuration and change management methodologies

Skills:

- Proficiency in C++ and Linux

- Expertise in Android AOSP, framework, and HAL development

- Strong understanding of communication protocols (CAN, LIN, UDS)

- Experience with Yocto Build and CI/CD processes
