Sr. Rotating Equipment Engineer

Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Full time) from a recognized & reputed institute with good academic Records

Experience: 10 to 15 year's of experience in Oil & Gas, Petro-Chemicals, Fertilizers, Chemicals industry. Experience

in FEED/ Feasibility Study would be added advantage in addition to Detailed Engineering.

Preferred Age: - 35 years

Core Competence required:

Design/ Engineering of Rotating Machinery and Packages like pumps, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, steam turbines, fans - Axial/ centrifugal, packages for chemical dosing, vacuum package, cooling towers, agitator vessels, other material handling equipment like EOT cranes, conveyors etc in Oil & Gas, Petro-Chemicals, Fertilizers, Chemicals industry.

Key responsibilities

1)    Prepare equipment IPS packages and technical bid evaluations and make vendor suggestions

2)    Review vendor design documents and coordinate with vendors during equipment design and fabrication process

3)    Verification of contractors' work quality regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverable and drawings.

4)    Reconciliation of any conflicting design requirements by providing solutions

5)    Provide technical assistance/troubleshooting assistance in resolving rotating equipment design, operation and maintenance problems

6)    Respond to contractor technical queries

7)    Provide technical responses to contractor's variation requests

8)    Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours

9)    Develop basic engineering deliverables such as equipment selection and datasheets for new projects

10)  Work collaboratively with multiple disciplines for completion of the projects successfully

Knowledge of Codes : Relevant codes of API, ASMI, ISO, HI for Rotating equipment 7 machinery
